Leitz Microscope, c. 1910. Brass microscope from "E. Leitz-Wetzler / New York - Chicago." The microscope stands 12¼" high. A card in the box gives information in German: "Mikroskop Nr. / Vergrõsserungen bei 170 Mm. Tubuslãnge und 250 Mm. Bildweite…." Original wooden box has carrying handle and key; it contains two additional pieces, one marked "3" and one "6" and a box of slides. Excellent condition.

An Attractively Crafted "Morskoi" Chronometer. U.S.R., c. 1960's-1970's. Housed in a handsome two-lidded mahogany and brass case, the clock has large clear face, is key wound, and can be made freely moving to accommodate a ship's movement on the seas. The clock face and hands pristine, its brass frame tarnished in places. The wood case extremely fine. Size: 7-1/2" x 7-1/2" x 7-1/2".
